If there's one thing you should know about me, it's this:
I choose life.
The full and unedited version.
The messy-in-the-middle version.
The wildly adventurous version.
The version where we trust our intuition, follow the breadcrumbs, and say yes to what feels true, even when we can't quite see where the ever-winding path is leading.
Me, Now
These days I live in the beautiful South West of Western Australia with my husband. On an ideal day you'll find me barefoot on the beach with a coffee in one hand, a good non-fiction book in the other, and nowhere I need to rush off to.
My life is now filled with so many things I used to dream about: meaningful work that I love, deep and loyal friendships, travelling to and hosting retreats in beautiful places, morning forest-bath walks through the bush near my house, afternoon swims in the ocean, and space for all the little rituals that help me feel grounded, connected and fully alive.
But it wasn't always this way, and it took me many swings and roundabouts (and a few spectacular detours) to get here.
During the stormy years of my early twenties, in the middle of what I can only describe as a Dark Night of the Soul, I made a decision.
I didn't want to waste this precious existence.
I didn't want to spend my life just surviving or numbly ticking boxes while wearing the mask of a fake smile.
I wanted to genuinely enjoy my life.
I wanted to understand myself.
I wanted to LIVE.
Deeply. Wholeheartedly.
I know we can
That longing led me to the healing practice of yoga not just as a form of movement, but as an ancient philosophy and rich body of wisdom that helped me make sense of myself and this beautiful, messy experience we all share.
It eventually took me to places like India, Bali and Thailand in search of teachers, practices and experiences that helped me reconnect with myself.
In 2014, standing on the banks of the Ganges in Rishikesh, I experienced one of those moments where time seemed to stand still and life was never quite the same afterwards.
I still struggle to explain exactly what happened but I know I was strongly internally guided and when I returned home to Western Australia, I packed everything I owned into the back of my car and drove across the Nullarbor to Melbourne to begin my first yoga teacher training.
I wasn't just moving cities -
It was bigger and more profound than that.
I was saying yes to a completely different way of living and being in the world, and it remains one of the most pivotal decisions I have ever made.
My years of studying and teaching yoga became a way of learning how to love and live in my body again.
A way of finding safety within myself.
A way of reconnecting with parts of myself that I had ignored, overridden, abandoned or forgotten.
Looking back now, I can see there was never anything wrong with me.
I was simply trying to navigate life without truly understanding myself.
Maybe that's what growing up really is.
Not becoming someone new, but slowly finding our way back to who we've always been.
Coming Home to Myself
Years later I discovered coaching, and once again my world expanded.
I experienced firsthand what can happen when someone truly sees you.
When they believe in you before you believe in yourself.
When they gently remind you of something you've forgotten.
My relationships changed.
I met my husband and, for the first time in my life, experienced a love where I could be fully myself. Vulnerable. Safe. Accepted.
My confidence deepened.
My self-trust grew stronger.
Most significantly, I stopped outsourcing the answers to the big questions in my life and started listening to my own intuition.
That experience eventually led me to complete my coaching certification through the Beautiful You Coaching Academy in 2022, but the truth is that my greatest education has come from living.
Through heartbreak and healing.
Through making some god-awful, painful mistakes.
Through saying yes to things that absolutely terrified me and discovering courage on the other side.
We Don't Need Fixing
Today I have the privilege of supporting extraordinary, soulful women who are tired of wondering what's wrong with them and ready to understand themselves through a completely different lens.
Women who want to trust themselves again.
Honour their sensitivity instead of apologising for it.
Build lives that feel deeply true to who they are.
I believe one of my greatest gifts is seeing women clearly.
I love this work and consider it one of the greatest privileges of my life to hold these brave spaces.
I see the power, wisdom and potential that already exists within you and reflect it back when you've forgotten.
Because we don't need fixing.
We need someone to hold up a mirror, reflecting back the light that was never lost.
It would be my honour to walk beside you as you remember who you truly are.
